Description
The soft fuzzy appearance of this cactus causes it to be nicknamed the "Teddy Bear" Cholla.
But don't go cuddling the "Teddy Bear".
Those one inch spines are sharp and barbed.
If they stick into you they don't come out easily.
I can personally attest to that.
This cholla is framed by the Santa Catalina Mountains near Tucson Arizona.
