Description
Made in France:
There they are called Limousine
In Canada and the US they dropped the ‘e’
(Did they think the chauffer would be confused by what to bring ‘round?)
This breed can trace it’s ancestry to the European auroch
That prehistoric mega fauna survived into the 1600’s
The Limousin outperforms other beef cattle
For one it produces a higher yield of lean beef
It is now quite often cross bred with Angus cattle to
ensure hybrid vigor
And they’re just plain colorful and cute
