Artist's Description

Shadows cast by a wrought iron railing in Savannah Georgia

Is it a heart?
Isaiah Davenport, who built the house, did father 10 children

Or is it a spade or trowel?
The town was full of freemasons and it is one of their symbols.

The museum housed here doesn't know with any certainty.
